Just Be You and Do it For Him
“The fear began to melt off of me.”
Today, I want to share with you a defining moment of my life. I believe this revelation can impact you just like it has impacted me.
Through my consulting company, I was given the opportunity to speak before a group of a high-level military leaders from the United States and other nations. As I waited for these highly credentialed, highly intelligent individuals to come into the room, I was an internal mess. My heart was beating fast; I had butterflies in my stomach and I am thinking, “Melodye, what are you doing here?! How did you get here in the first place??”
In the midst of my fear, the Lord was so good, and He interrupted my thoughts. He said:
“I am smarter than all of them put together. I have more influence than all of them combined.”
I knew in my mind that this was true. He continued to speak to me something that transformed my life. It didn’t just apply to me, but it will apply to you as well. He said:
“Just be you and do it for Me.”
With those words from my Father God, the fear that I was feeling began to melt off of me as I realized that I was capable of being myself and I was doing it for my God.
Now, no matter what situation I am in, I remember that I only need to be authentically me and give my 100% to the God who created Heaven and Earth, my Daddy. When I do this, I honor Him and I build His Kingdom.
May you experience freedom, peace, and joy as you “just be you and do it for Him.”
God bless you,
