The story of our lives is written through the good and bad times, the triumphs and tragedies, along with every achievement or disappointment. None of us are exempt from facing difficulties, obstacles or the injustices of life. The enemy is a cold-hearted adversary coming to steal, kill, and destroy every person on the planet. We’ve all experienced our world shaking around us as fear threatens harassing us with the debilitating lies that we are not good enough.
It is not what happens to us but in us that shapes our future.
If we can remain confident in who God is and who He is within us, these shaking seasons can essentially position us internally for greater levels of eternal impact. We can be catapulted forward when the enemy’s objective was to drive us backwards.
I’ve learned through neuroscience that every thought we accept builds a belief system forming the filter for every life choice. Faith-filled thoughts, beliefs, attitudes and choices will determine how we navigate the stormy waters when our world is shaking.
Let’s look through the healthy perspective lens of hope:
- Shaking pulls us out of the familiar as faulty structures are removed making provision for new and better opportunities. Our course can be redirected to a superior position as we seek prophetic strategies and new methods knowing we cannot do things the way we used to do them.
- Pressure has a way of drawing out our DNA as abilities, talents, and prophetic purpose rise to the surface. Purpose once held in obscurity can now be revealed through fresh vision for those who refuse to give up.
- Relationships are put to the test. We discover who is loyal and supportive or experience the unmasking of “fair weather” friends. The steadfast relationships are renewed and strengthened as doors are opened for new connections. The Holy Spirit has shown me that when the fullness of time connects to holy alliances, heaven opens. This often happens when our world has been shaken.
- Our prophetic purpose, individually and corporately, will be revealed. Our prophetic promise is the truth that stabilizes our emotions in the midst of world-shaking contradictions. Enduring the adverse external circumstances and the pointing fingers of the naysayers is vital to experiencing an open heaven.
Be confident in your assignment by remaining in position unmovable and unshakable. Be the best you can be trusting in The One who has positioned you for success!
