Purity Prayers

You were created for such a time as this with a unique purpose and destiny. These purity prayers were drawn from Scripture and designed to give you simple prayers to speak God’s best over your life, your family, and those around you.

I choose to obey God in every area of my life through my outward actions as well as my inward thoughts, intentions, and motives of my heart. I yield my body and its passions to the Holy Spirit’s authority. I put my body, the temple of God, into subjection so that I will not bring a reproach to the gospel. 1 Corinthians 9:27

I can trust my God and rest in His will for my life. God is so pleased to give me the desires of my heart for I delight to do His will. God is preparing me for my future spouse as well as Him preparing them for me. When the desire comes it will be a tree of life for me, for the blessings of the Lord add no sorrow with it. Romans 8:39; Psalm 37:4; Proverbs 13:2; Proverbs 10:22

I run from anything that will stir up passions within me that cannot be righteously fulfilled. I will protect the treasure that God has placed within me, for I am not a ‘rhinestone’ but a ‘diamond,’ one with true value and treasured. I will not allow myself, my mind, or another to violate the gift that God has placed within me, for I will present myself to my spouse in purity and holiness. Corinthians 12:21; Galatians 5:19; 1 Peter 4:3; 2 Corinthians 4:7; 1 Timothy 4:4

I bring every thought into subjection to the obedience of Christ. I place a guard upon my mind, my heart, and my actions for I choose life and not death; I choose blessing not cursing. Romans 1:21; 2 Corinthians 10:5; Proverbs 4:23; Deuteronomy 30:19

The Holy Spirit is helping me in every area of weakness and He is interceding for me according to the will of God. Romans 8:26-27

I walk in a spirit of virginity and purity. All filthy garments have been replaced with clean garments washed in the blood of Jesus. I present my body a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God so that I will not allow myself to be taken advantage of nor will I defraud another. Mark 10:19; 1 Corinthians 7:5; Psalms 103:12; Romans 12:1-2; Zechariah 3:3-4

The lust of the flesh and the ways of the world cannot pull me from God’s plan for my life, for greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I choose to mortify the deeds of my flesh for I shall live life to the full until it overflows. 1 John 4:4; Galatians 5:16; 2 Peter 2:10; 1 John 2:16; Romans 8:13

I am not moved by flattering words or flirting, for they only set a trap and bring forth death and sorrow, but instead I pursue the wisdom of God that will preserve my very life. Proverbs 5

The Lord is looking for those who say, “Send Me!” to His invitations.   His requests are being made for someone to stand in the gap and declare His Word. I proclaim, “Here am I, send me. I will go for You!” Isaiah 6:8; Ezekiel 22:30
