Human frailty causes us to view our lives through the lens of experience and limit vision to our present reality. Never would we crave our favorite food if we would not have first tasted it. We would never desire to do something without first hearing about the benefits it would provide. We believe that to obtain externally we must first see internally, and this in some respects is true. However, do we want our lives determined by what WE see or by what GOD sees for us? If we trust our Creator then we know that today’s obedience positions us for what He sees for us outside of the boundaries of time.

Recently during a casual conversation, a friend communicated a vision-filled expectation for how we could partner in business in the near future. He saw something I could not see myself involved in because it was not fitting into my personal purpose. I immediately responded informing him with what I never wanted to do. My present passion and perspective were based solely upon what I could see. This limited my ability to grasp a bigger picture. When our conversation ended I immediately felt the Holy Spirit challenge me to never base my future upon my present goals and dreams. Never say never!

There is a God-directed purpose within each of us that is yet to unfold as we walk out our lives on this side of time. Who knows what we will do! Who knows what platform God will position us on! Today’s purpose is simply another in a series of building blocks laying a foundation for what will be—limitless far beyond our present perspectives.

“God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!” – Ephesians 3:20, The Message Bible

Faith’s central core is the understanding of who God is and who we are in Him. We often spend our lives believing for something rather than believing in someone—Jesus Christ.  We aggressively believe to obtain something rather than receiving the grace to become all that God has called us to be. Who you are is far superior then anything you could ever do.

Only the Father knows what opportunity the future will hold for you. What you do not desire today will undoubtedly be transformed as you partner with a limitless God! This slight mindset shift can empower our ability to “set our mind” on a limitless God with an unlimited plan.

Let’s join together to challenge ourselves to believe for His highest and best even though we cannot see it clearly today! Let us not say that we could never be or accomplish Kingdom exploits. No matter the challenges of the present season recognize you are destined to receive supernatural surprises!
