Volunteer Event at the Valley Lighthouse

Want to help love your neighbors? Come spend a few hours serving “The Sharing Center” in Lykens. The Sharing Center is part of Family Circle Ministries run out of The Valley Lighthouse in Lykens. They accept good quality donations of clothing and houseware items and make these items available for free for people who are in need of assistance or a fresh start (fire victims, abuse survivors, formerly incarcerated, new job, etc.)

During this volunteer event, we will be serving The Sharing Center manager, Lisa Cannon to help organize, clean, assemble, etc. clothing and housewares. As the saying goes, “Many hands make light work” but a little goes a long way in helping to make a difference in our local community.
